NEW YORK, NY, February 5, 2007 — COMEDY CENTRAL is pulling back-up duty in “Reel Comedy: Reno 911! Miami, The Movie.” This half-hour special premieres on Monday, February 19 at 12:00 a.m.
COMEDY CENTRAL’s “Reel Comedy: Reno 911! Miami, The Movie” takes a special look at the Reno gang and how they are handling a new beat: the city of Miami. When the cops head to Miami to attend the annual police convention, “Reel Comedy” host Lisa Arch leads a camera crew to the Magic City as the cops show her how they handle on-the-beat patrols, nude beach emergencies, noise disturbances at rappers’ mansions and their own inner-group squabbles. Arch also talks to Dangle, Wiegel, Junior, Clemmy, Jones and all the other members of the force to get their perspectives on what it’s like to patrol a bigger and wilder city than Reno and the all-important question of how the partying differs. Fox’s big-screen version of the cops’ trip to Miami, entitled “Reno 911! Miami, The Movie,” opens in theaters on February 23.
Encore presentations air Tuesday, February 20 at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 21 at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, February 22 at 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 a.m. and Friday, February 23 at 4:00 p.m.
