NEW YORK, April 30, 2007 — The walls of New York City’s Gotham Comedy Club shake with laughter. COMEDY CENTRAL’s first original multi-platform series “Live at Gotham” is back for another laugh-out-loud season. Tune in and crack up Friday, May 18 at midnight for the season two premiere of “Live at Gotham,” featuring all-new exclusive comedic material.

“Live at Gotham” was taped at the Gotham Comedy Club in New York City. This season’s on-air debut includes eight one-hour episodes with each featuring six up-and-coming comedians and one all-star host. Leading up to the on-air premiere and throughout the new season, exclusive stand-up clips will be available on as well as other digital platforms such as mobile, iTunes and Video On Demand. Beginning the week of May 15, exclusive interviews with “Live At Gotham” hosts can be viewed at and iTunes and full episodes from season two will be available On Demand beginning May 21.

The premiere episode is hosted by Artie Lange and showcases the talent of Al Jackson, Jeremy Schachter, Amanda Melson, Geoff Keith, Kurt Metzger and Joey Gay. Upcoming episodes include performances by Steve Wilson, Jonah Ray, Eric Andre, John Evans and Sherry Sirof, among other rising stars. Season two also features hosts Lewis Black, Jim Breuer, Gabriel Iglesias, Jeffrey Ross, Andy Kindler, Robert Schimmel and Dana Gould.

“Live at Gotham” host Artie Lange has been a regular on “The Howard Stern Show” for the past five years and is one of the most sought after live comedians and talk show guests. Recently, Lange starred in, co-wrote and produced his own feature film, “Beer League,” which received rave reviews from Variety and The New York Times. Lange has also produced his own concert DVD entitled “Artie Lange: It’s The Whiskey Talkin’,” which includes a sold out, stand-up performance, a behind the scenes look at some of Lange’s gigs and the award-winning short film, “Gameday,” which Lange wrote, produced and starred in.
