NEW YORK, April 7, 2008 – Dov Davidoff grew up in a junkyard, lost his virginity at age twelve with a prostitute in Mexico and is very, very funny. His new CD, “The Point Is…” released on COMEDY CENTRAL RECORDS® on Tuesday, April 22, proves that point.

Combining hyper ADD and audience connection, Davidoff puts on one of the most high intensity shows in stand-up. Recorded live in October 2007 at the Comedy Works in Denver, CO, Davidoff’s new CD “The Point Is…” captures this kinetic master at his best. The live CD covers a variety of topics including segments titled “Starbucks,” “”Guy in the Garbage Can,” “Necrophiliac,” “Mood Lighting” and “Ray Charles,” among others.

Davidoff is a regular on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” and “Last Call With Carson Daly.” He will co-star in the upcoming feature film, “Across the Hall,” has starred opposite Mark Wahlberg in the film “Invincible” and co-starred with Jeff Goldblum in the 2007 NBC drama “Raines.” Davdioff is a regular fixture on COMEDY CENTRAL starring in his own 2007 half hour comedy special and appearing on “Chappelle’s Show” and “Tough Crowd.” He is a favorite at the prestigious Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal and has won numerous comedy competitions.
