NEW YORK, November 21, 2011 – No one and nothing is sacred when Mike Epps comes to the stage to host “Mike Epps Presents: Live From Club Nokia.” Epps and his hottest stand-up friends are breaking out their raunchiest material for the Network Television Premiere debuting on Saturday, December 10 at midnight ET/PT on COMEDY CENTRAL.


Filmed at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, Epps hand-picked some of the industry’s most talented and sought-after comedians who humorously dissect everything and anything from relationships to current events. Along with Epps, the comedians showcased are Vanessa Fraction, Gary Owen, Kenny Powell, Scruncho, Rob Stapleton, G Thang and Henry Welch. This all-star lineup is in rare form and funny as ever in this unforgettable night of comedy!

Leading up to the on-air premiere, cc.com/standup will feature sneak-preview clips from the special.

Epps’ film credits include “Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins,” “The Grand,” “Soul Men,” “Hancock,” the animated feature, “Open Season 2,” “Janky Promoters,” “Next Day Air,” the “Resident Evil” franchise and “Talk to Me.” He has also appeared in “All About the Benjamins,” the “Friday” franchise, “The Fighting Temptations,” “Roll Bounce,” “Something New,” “Guess Who,” Paramount Picture’s remake of “The Honeymooners,” “Bait,” “How High,” and “Dr. Doolittle 2.” His television credits include a one hour HBO comedy special, “Inappropriate Behavior” (followed by its subsequent DVD release) and host of HBO’s “Russell Simmons’ Def Comedy Jam.” When Epps isn’t filming, he is touring the country and performing his comedy act, “The Mike Epps on the Edge Tour,” performed to sold-out theaters and arenas across the country.
