standing as the preeminent multiplatform comedy brand in 2011, with stand-out performances in Primetime, in

Late Night and online, especially among Millennials and young men. Led by “Tosh.0,” “South Park

and “Workaholics” in Primetime and

The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” and “The Colbert Report” in Late Night, COMEDY CENTRAL ranked as the #1

entertainment (non-sports) network in cable in Prime among men 18-34 and men 18-24 and topped all late night

talk shows in all of television among adults 18-34, adults 18-24, men 18-34 and men 18-24. In addition, for

the calendar year 2011, “The Daily Show” topped all late night talk shows in all of television among adults

For the calendar year, COMEDY CENTRAL posted a 0.58

adults 18-49 rating in Prime, up +5% vs. 2010, and just over 1.0 million total viewers (up +2%) and recorded

the highest-rated year in its history among men 25-34 and the second-highest rated year in its history among

many key demographics including adults 18-49, adults 18-34, adults 18-24, men 18-49, men 18-34 and men 18-24

(highest-rated in these demos was 2008).

The solid year was spurred by the continued rise of

“Tosh.0,” which averaged 4.3 million total viewers across its third season (up +63%) and was the #1 comedy

series in cable among adults 18-34 – the purest of multiplatform hits, the “Tosh.0″ blog grew to a weekly

average of nearly 2 million unique visitors by season’s end; the year-long “Year of the Fan” celebration of

the historic 15th season of the Emmy® and Peabody® Award-winning “South Park,” which averaged 3.6 million

total viewers and was the #1 comedy series in all of television among men 18-24 (+29%); and the launch of

COMEDY CENTRAL’s newest hit, “Workaholics,” which averaged 2.0 million total viewers across two seasons in

2011 and was the #1 new comedy of the year in all of television among men 18-24 and the #1 new comedy in cable

among adults 18-49 and men 18-34.

In addition, 2011 was spurred on by strong performances by the

“COMEDY CENTRAL Roast of Charlie Sheen” (7.6 million total viewers, the most-watched telecast in the channel’s

history), the “COMEDY CENTRAL Roast of Donald Trump” (4.0 million total viewers), stand-up specials from Jeff

Dunham (6.5 million total viewers) and Daniel Tosh (3.6 million total viewers) and the most recent season of

“Futurama,” which averaged 2.3 million total viewers.

finished as the #1 late night talk show among adults 18-49 across the full calendar year, the first time any

talk show other than “The Tonight Show” has finished as the leader in this key demographic. Together with the
