NEW YORK, February 1, 2012 – No translators needed to understand these numbers. On the night he announced the Tosh Tour Twenty Twelve, Daniel Tosh returned to COMEDY CENTRAL for the 4th Season Premiere of “Tosh.0” and recorded the series’ biggest premiere among young men, dominating the night across all of television. Immediately following “Tosh,” new sketch series “Key & Peele” provided the all-comedy channel with its biggest series launch since 2009.

“Tosh.0” drew 3.1 million total viewers to its season premiere, along with a 2.3 adult 18-49 rating, 4.1 men 18-34 rating and a 4.6 men 18-24 rating. A huge hit with young men, “Tosh.0” was the #1 series in Prime on Tuesday night across all of television with men 18-34 and men 18-24, scoring the best rating among men 18-24 for any of the series’ season premieres.

Scoring COMEDY CENTRAL’s best launch since 2009, “Key & Peele” drew 2.1 million total viewers to its series premiere and also resonated among young men, earning a 2.6 men 18-34 rating and a 3.3 men 18-24 rating to finish as #1 in its timeslot with both demographics across all of television. For the night, the inaugural episode of the new hit series finished behind only “Tosh.0” in all of television for Tuesday Prime among men 18-24. In addition, #KeyAndPeele was the #1 trending topic on Twitter during its premiere play.

Now in its fourth season, “Tosh.0” features the razor-sharp humor and biting commentary from comedian Daniel Tosh and delves into all aspects of the Internet from the absolutely absurd to the incredibly ingenious in this weekly, topical series. The series premiered on June 4, 2009 and is the most-watched and highest-rated series on COMEDY CENTRAL. A break-out ratings success, “Tosh.0” ranks as the #1 show on all of television on Tuesday nights among men 18-34 and men 18-24.
