Daniel Tosh is back and the intrepid host of the internet will be revealing more than just a new wardrobe in the coming weeks. Stay tuned… In the meantime, fans will get to experience fresh episodes of “Tosh.0” beginning on Tuesday, August 26 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.
The “Web Redemption” segment in the premiere features Daniel meeting the “Summertime is Great” family and proceeding to sing a song about how horrible autumn is within the confines of the Brady Bunch House. In addition, “Tosh.0” checks in on a few people from past ”Web Redemptions” and “CeWEBrity Profiles” including X-12, Antoine Dodson, Bad Finger and of course, Fanny (a.k.a. Risky Business Girl).
Future “Web Redemptions” include:
- Date Camp: Daniel takes a couple who teaches Advanced Kissing Techniques through his military-style kiss boot camp.
- Weightlifter Drops: Daniel helps a duo invent some new, dangerous weightlifting techniques.
- Wheel of Fortune: The worst “Wheel of Fortune” contestant ever gets a second chance.
- Dumped by High School Sweetheart: Daniel assists a teen find the girl who is catfishing him.
“Tosh.0” premiered on June 4, 2009 and features razor-sharp humor and biting commentary from comedian Daniel Tosh. The weekly, topical series delves into all aspects of the Internet from the absolutely absurd to the incredibly ingenious. Each episode includes a “CeWEBrity Profile” or Tosh giving subjects of notorious viral videos a second chance to redeem themselves from the embarrassment with which they have become synonymous with their very own “Web Redemption.”
“Tosh.0” is executive produced by Tosh, Charlie Siskel and Christie Smith. Gary Mann is the Executive in Charge of Production for Comedy Central.
The über-popular “Tosh.0” blog, which is one of Comedy Central’s most-visited properties, continues to be updated daily with blog posts, web-exclusive behind-the-scenes content and interactive features.
