NEW YORK, December 1, 2011 – COMEDY CENTRAL Records received two nominations for “Best Comedy Album” for the Recording Academy’s 54th Grammys, to be held live at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on February 12. The nominations, which were announced last night, are for the COMEDY CENTRAL Records releases of Louis C.K.’s “Hilarious” and Patton Oswalt’s “Finest Hour.”

On “Louis C.K.: Hilarious” CD, which was recorded at the Pabst Theater in Milwaukee and released by COMEDY CENTRAL Records on January 11, Louis C.K. gives his irreverent take on single fatherhood and life after forty.

Patton Oswalt offers up his unique take on a new range of topics in his “Finest Hour” CD, including fatherhood, incontinent monkeys, crack heads and Jesus. “Finest Hour” was recorded in Seattle and released by COMEDY CENTRAL Records on September 20.
