NEW YORK, June 22, 2017 — Comedy Central has named Whitney Baxter as Vice President, Strategy & Business Development, it was announced today by Tanya Giles, General Manager, Comedy Central, to whom he reports. Baxter is based in Comedy Central’s SoHo offices and will play a key role in setting a strategic path for Comedy Central while creating competitive advantages toward sustained revenue and income growth.

Baxter joins Comedy Central from Goldman, Sachs & Co.’s Technology, Media, & Telecom Investment Banking Group where he principally worked with the firm’s entertainment, media, and internet clients on M&A and financing transactions. Baxter also worked in Digital Business & Partner Development at iHeartMedia. Baxter holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and an AB from Harvard College.
